Below are my own personal recommendations as to where to eat and be entertained while you are visiting on Hilton Head Island. Hopefully, you will enjoy them as much as I do.

Breakfast: The Hilton Head Diner

Highway 278, just South of Palmetto Dunes Plantation

The Hilton Head Diner is located on Hilton Head Island, just South of the entrance to Palmetto Dunes Plantation. This is my suggestion for breakfast because of the wide variety of menu items. You can even play your favorite tune on your own personal tableside jukebox. Also, the homemade desserts are out of this world!

Lunch: Christine’s Café & Catering

24 Palmetto Bay Road (next to Branches)

Open Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Located on Palmetto Bay Road, Hilton Head Island, Christine’s Café & Catering is the most fabulous place on Hilton Head Island for lunch. This is my suggestion for lunch because I always enjoy frequenting locally owned establishments. After you are greeted by one of the friendly servers you will be introduced to a basket of the most delicious homemade potato chips that you have ever tasted. Honestly, you just cannot let your Hilton Head experience go by without trying a basket, or two. After the potato chips you cannot go wrong with any of the menu selections. Christine chooses all of the freshest ingredients. Then, when you do not think that you can eat one more morsel, your server comes around with a tray of bite-sized desserts. Just enough to put a smile on your face so that you can go ahead and enjoy the rest of your day!

Dinner: Marley’s Island Grille

Located at the Entrance to Sea Pines in Park Plaza

Located on the left side before you enter the main gate to Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island, this is my suggestion for dinner. Go in and tell Nick, the head chef, that I sent you. You will find a great selection of seafood, as well as other dinner items. If you like sashimi, you have to try the Spicy Tuna!

After Dinner: The Jazz Corner

C1 – The Village at Wexford

Monday – Sunday

The Jazz Corner is located in The Village at Wexford on Hilton Head Island, in the back left hand corner on the same side as Wendy’s. Have an after dinner cocktail and relax in the quaint atmosphere while enjoying a variety of great local talent. My best suggestion is to go to www.TheJazzCorner.com and find out who is playing tonight.

Late Night: Metropolitans & Monkey Business

Located at the Entrance to Sea Pines in Park Plaza
Hilton Head Island, SC

Located in the back of Park Plaza near the entrance to Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island (behind Marleys) are Metropolitans and Monkey Business. If you like to listen to the latest dance music and dance the night away then Monkey Business is the place to go. If you prefer the atmosphere of a small New York City hot spot then Metro is the place to go.
